The UAC offers Bachelor degree programs in the areas of: Education, Agronomy, Nursing, and Veterinary Science. A tecnical degree in Ecotourism is also an option, and the department is currently undergoing the process of offering a Bachelor's degree program. Bachelor's degrees at the UAC are 5-year programs, and a technical degree is a 3-year program; all students must complete a graduation thesis project related to their major.  Students in the Ecotourism department are required to take 6 semesters of English courses.  Students from the other 4 majors are offered only 2 semesters of English but can test out of the language requirement by taking a proficiency test in English or Quechua or Aymara, two native South American languages.  Many students are asking for a more open-enrollment format for English, as many are recognizing the value of speaking a foreign language in a global society.    For more information about each individual major, please visit the Carmen Pampa Fund webstie at http://www.carmenpampafund.org/index.html
